All of these movies are on my Top 12 because they all have resonated with me in some way. In my opinion, they all have creative plots and fun characters that are relatable. Breakfast at Tiffany's has such facinating characters, and was my gateway movie to loving Audrey Hepburn's work. She's a wonderful actress and I love her voice. Casablanca was a movie I had to watch for a class and is considered a classic. I remember watching it out of necessity but slowly becoming more and more invested in the movie as it went on. EEAAO is a mind-boggling movie that had me in tears thrice throughout my first watch-through. It's an experience I wish I could experience for the first time again and again. Howl's Moving Castle was a movie I watched with a friend since I had never seen any Studio Ghibili movies. I fell in love with the characters and the animation style, and it's one of my comfort movies. Interstellar was a top pick because of its vast plot, but mostly because the soundtrack is out of this world. Joker, while controversial when it came out, has amazing cinematography and an interesting take on classic DC characters. Knives Out has one of the most confusing mysteries I've ever witnessed in a movie and was enjoyable to watch just to see the outcome, along with its crazy cast of characters. Leon The Professional is my all time favorite movie that I watch yearly. The characters are iconic and the story is heart-throbbing. Saltburn also had amazing cinematography and like Knives Out, had an extremely confusing mystery that you just had to witness to understand. Soul was a movie I watched on a whim and its message touched me so deeply that I was emotional by the end of it all. Into the Spiderverse is another movie I enjoy because of the animation and the captivating characters. And finally, The Menu was another movie I watched on a whim but really enjoyed because of the mind-boggling story and I had to see the ending to understand its message.
